Researchers at mit have developed a device AlterEgo, allowing the user to interact with the computing system the power of thought.
AlterEgo registers neuro-muscular signals from the face and jaw that occur as a result of subvocalization mental pronunciation of the text. The registered signals are sent to the computing device with a system of machine learning that interpreterpath them into words.
In addition to the four electrodes, the device includes a bone conduction technology, delivering sound to the inner ear of the user via bones of the skull by vibrations.
AlterEgo can be used for quiet talks during special operations or for conversation in a very noisy environment. In addition, the device will allow you to interact with computing systems without being distracted from other things.
