FiiO, a Chinese company that manufactures portable Hi-Fi players, amps, headphones, DACs and other audio equipment, released an audio player M7 processor Samsung Exynos 7270.
One of the goals of Samsung this year is to establish the Exynos chipsets in more devices and not just smartphones. 14-nanometer Exynos 7270 is not a new chip, it was introduced in 2016. The processor was developed specifically for smart watches to ensure long battery life.
FiiO M7 features a 3.2-inch display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Processor running at 1 GHz purity, internal memory is just 2 GB, can expand the space up to 512 GB with microSD card.
The audio player has ES9018Q2C DAC, LDAC and supports DSD audio. It also has FM radio and USB audio. There is a USB-C port 4.2 and Bluetooth (aptX and aptX-HD).
Battery capacity is unknown, but the FiiO promises up to 20 hours on a single charge or up to 40 days in standby mode. Official price not yet announced.
