Earlier it was rumored that the 2018 conference MWC in February, Xiaomi will unveil its next flagship, the M7. But now the information appeared, that earlier the company will also show a budget smartphone Redmi Note 5.
The device has already passed certification in China. It is expected that Xiaomi will release two versions: standard and Plus.
Redmi Note will get 5 to 5.99-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a resolution of FHD, Snapdragon processor 630, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. Note 5 Plus will be equipped with Snapdragon 636 and more memory — 4 GB, and 64, respectively. They will work on Android OS Nougat with a shell MIUI 9.
In addition, the smartphone will set two major camera 16 and 5 MP front and 8 MP. Add a face recognition function, support fast charging and a battery of 4100 mAh.
Estimated cost is 1499 yuan (~13 500 rubles) per Note 5 and 1799 (~16 000) for Note 5 Plus.
