Acer has announced a compact desktop computer and two laptops running Chrome OS, Chromebox CXI3, Spin Chromebook 11 and Chromebook 11 C732. All the devices are compatible with Google Play.
Spin 11 (CP311-1H/CP311-1HN) — 11.6-inch chromebook touch HD display (1366×768) mounted on hinges with opening angle in 360 degrees. Chromebook comes with three variants of Intel processors: Pentium N4200 Quad core, Quad core and Celeron dual core Celeron N3450 N3350. Modification of memory: 4/8 GB of RAM, 32/64 GB ROM. Optional Acer offers a stylus with Wacom technology-enabled EMR and a second front camera for use in tablet mode. Regardless of the selected options, the laptop has two USB ports-3.1 C, 3.1 dual USB ports and a slot for a microSD card.
In North America sales Spin 11 will begin in March and to Europe chromebook will arrive in April this year. The cost starts from $ 350 (~19 700 rubles).
Сhromebook 11 C732/ C732T — 11.6-inch chromebook HD display (1366×768). C732T version assumes touchscreen display with IPS-matrix, while C732 comes with IPS and TN. A choice of buyers presents two Intel Quad-core Celeron dual-core Celeron N3450 N3350. Memory options: 4/ 8 GB of RAM, 16/ 32/ 64 GB ROM. Available ports the same Spin 11. Laptop passed the testing to meet the US military standard MIL-STD-810G, and protected from dust and moisture standard IP41.
Сhromebook 11 C732 will be sold in North America in March at a price of $ 280 (~15 800 rubles) for the regular model and $ 300 (~17 000) for the version with touch screen.
