Samsung introduced a new mobile processor Exynos 9610 designed for devices average price segment. As previously announced 700 series Qualcomm processor, the new chip promises of flagship features in a more affordable devices.
Exynos 9610 endowed with deep learning and neural networks, which will allow the processor to implement the bokeh from one lens and it is better to recognize faces, even if they are not looking at the camera or partially closed various objects: hats or hair.
Everything else, the new chip promises:
- improved photo quality in low light;
- video recording 480 frames per second in Full HD resolution;
- higher performance image processing;
- encoding and decoding video with a resolution of 4K up to 120 fps with the codec MFC.
9610 Exynos is built on a 10-nanometer process technology FinFET. The processor has four cores Cortex-A73 processor with a clock frequency of 2.3 GHz and four cores Cortex-A53, clocked at 1.6 GHz. As the GPU Mali-G72.
Built-in LTE modem promises the speed of loading and unloading 600 Mbps and 150 Mbps, respectively. In addition, the stated support for 802.11 ac 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and four navigation systems: GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and Galileo.
Devices with Exynos 9610 expected in the second half of this year.
