On February 25 within the framework of the exhibition MWC 2018 Huawei has unveiled the MateBook X Pro laptop and tablet lineup, Huawei MediaPad M5.
MateBook X Pro ultrabook with touch a 13.9-inch display (3000×2000 pixels), Intel ® Core ™ processor and eighth-generation discrete graphics NVIDIA GeForce MX150. The laptop got one USB a connector, two port, Type-C and a 3.5 mm audio Jack.

Due to the very thin frames around the display, the webcam had to disguise a key. In addition, the laptop keyboard is not afraid of water, and the power button is integrated fingerprint scanner. Weight MateBook X Pro is 1.33 kg with a maximum thickness of 14.6 mm.
MediaPad M5 is available in three configurations:
- The 8-inch MediaPad M5 8: Kirin 960, 4 GB of RAM, 32/64/128 GB ROM 13 MP (primary), 5 MP (front), 5100 mAh;
- The 10.8-inch (2560×1600) MediaPad 10 M5: Kirin 960S, 4 GB RAM, 32/64/128 GB ROM 13 MP (primary), 8 MP (front), 7500 mAh;
- The 10.8-inch (2560×1600) MediaPad 10 M5 Pro: Kirin 960, 4 GB of RAM, 32/64/128 GB ROM 13 MP (primary), 8 MP (front), 7500 mAh.

Tablets MediaPad M5 got the sound from the Harman/Kardon Asahi Kasei DAC AK4376 and lost 3.5-mm audio Jack. To connect wired headphones need to use the supplied adapter with Type-C.
10 inch «Pro» model from the conventional is characterized by a set of stylus (4096 recognize degrees of pressure) and a more efficient processor. Key differences 10-domovyh models for 8-inch: four speakers vs two, support of the cover-keyboard (sold separately).
Huawei MateBook X Pro will be available in the second quarter of this year. The cost of the basic configuration c i5, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD will be 1499 euros (~104 thousand). The M5 MediaPad tablets will be sold this spring. The price remains a mystery.
