BlackBerry introduced the second generation KEY — Android-smartphone with a physical QWERTY keyboard below the display.
KEY2 is a touch 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 1620×1080 pixels and curved 2.5 D glass, a Snapdragon processor 660, 6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of ROM expandable with microSD cards.
The main camera of the smartphone is equipped with dual module 12+12 MP capable of taking pictures with bokeh effect. In addition, the camera device has got integration with Google Lens. Front camera is equipped with a module of 8 MP.
Built-in battery capacity is 3500 mAh. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo out of the box and supports fast charging Quick Charge 3.0. Of connectors are available: Type C and a 3.5 mm audio Jack.
Keyboard KEY2, as was the case with its predecessor, can be used as a touchpad for scrolling, and run programmable «shortcuts», which are now working through key combinations: key to Speed + any other key. In the button «space» as before the hidden fingerprint scanner.
In the BlackBerry say that the height of the keys KEY2 increased by 20 percent in comparison with the original KEYone. In addition, the keyboard has got a matte finish.
Sale BlackBerry KEY2 will begin this month at a price of $ 649 (~40 500 rubles). The smartphone is offered in silver and black versions.
