OnePlus has released a preview version of OxygenOS Open Beta 13 and 11 for OnePlus 5 and 5T. One of the changes listed in the official changelog is long-awaited support for Project Treble.

- The new category «Recently installed» list of apps
- Improved list of applications for concealed spaces

- All forecasts are integrated into a single interface
Owners of smartphones OnePlus asked the company to provide support to Project Treble, however, according to the company, it is impossible to do without relabeling include system memory, which can lead to loss of user data. Later ASUS still managed to embed the Project in the Treble one of his old smartphones without storage problems. Apparently OnePlus have used the same method.
Project Treble parts of the low-level portion to communicate with the hardware and the rest of Android so smartphone manufacturers will be able to update only the visual component of the system without interfering with the drivers. This will speed up the release of new versions of skins and updates to fresh versions of Android.
