The sub-brand Huawei introduced a new smartphone middle segment for the Chinese market under the names Honor 8X and 8X Max.
The Junior version has a 6.5 inch screen with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, a single-chip system HiSilicon Kirin 710, with 4 or 6 GB of RAM. Storage options include 64 and 128 GB and the battery capacity of 3750 mAh with the fast charging option.
On the back side of the smartphone has a camera with sensors 20 and 2 MP (f/1,8), front camera has a resolution of 16 MP.
Honor 8X Max lives up to its name 7,12-inch screen 2244×1080 pixels with a tiny cut in the manner of a Essential Phone. Used Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 636 paired with 4GB of RAM and a battery of 5000 mAh.
Later will appear the modification with Snapdragon 660 and 6 GB. On the rear panel is located the sensor at 16 MP f/2 and 2 MP in the front cutout is 8 — megapixel sensor with aperture f/2.
Both products used a proprietary shell EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo with support of artificial intelligence technologies for processing photos. There are two slots for nanoSIM and microSD cards.
Pre-orders start September 6, delivery — September 11. Honor 8X will cost:
- 1399 yuan (~14 thousand) for the version with 4+64 GB.
- 1599 yuan (about 16 thousand roubles) with 6+64 GB.
- 1899 yuan (~19 thousand roubles) with 6+128 GB.
The Max model is priced at 1499 yuan (~15 thousand rubles) 4+a 64 GB and 1799 yuan (~18 thousand rubles) 4+128 GB. Color options — blue and black.
