Google has launched a loyalty program for purchases in the Play Store called Play Points. While it is available only in Japan, but later it may spread to other countries.

There are five levels: bronze, silver, gold, platinum and diamond. Each provided encouragement, which can be purchased for points. Points cannot be transferred between accounts, but they can also be redeemed for discounts in the applications.

  • Bronze (0-250 points)
    • 1 point for every 100 yen spent (~60 rubles)
  • Silver (250-999 points)
    • 1.25 points for every spent 100 yen (~60 rubles)
    • 1 credit for in-game purchases for 300 yen (~180 rubles)
    • 1 credit to rent a movie for 100 yen (~60 rubles)
  • Gold (1000-3999 points)
    • 1.5 points for every 100 yen spent (~60 rubles)
    • +1 credit for in-game purchases for 300 yen (~180 rubles)
    • +2 credits to rent movies at 100 yen (~60 rubles)
    • 2 credits for e-books for 500 yen (~300 rubles)
  • Platinum (4000-14 999 points)
    • 1.75 points for every 100 yen spent (~60 rubles)
    • +1 credit for in-game purchases for 300 yen (~180 rubles)
    • +4 credits to rent movies at 100 yen (~60 rubles)
    • +4 credits in e-book for 500 yen (~300 rubles)
  • Diamond (14 999 points)
    • 2 points for every 100 yen spent (~60 rubles)
    • +2 credits for in-game purchases for 300 yen (~180 rubles)
    • +6 credits to rent movies at 100 yen (~60 rubles)
    • +5 credits to e-books for 500 yen (~300 rubles)

In early September, mentions Google Play Points have already been found in the source code of the app store.
