Samsung Electronics held a presentation of a single-chip platform Exynos 9820 in China. The chipset is built for 8-nm process, has a separate neural processor and powerful graphics.
Eight CPU cores include two Cortex-A75, four Cortex-A55 and two custom. The use of 8-nm FinFET process will increase the energy efficiency by 10 percent. Mass production of the chipset Samsung will begin later this year, and the first device using it can be a flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S10.
